Ewelina Zielonka is a freelance dance artist, working in Frankfurt am Main. In 2013 she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Movement Studies and Dance Education at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität (Linz/AT), and in 2015 completed her Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Education at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. In addition to choreographic work with Hella Lux, Kristin Gerwien, Zielonka leads various artistic projects with amateurs – she works with teenagers as part of Dance in Schools, with children as part of the project MOOVE ON! and the project You & Eye offered by the Cultural Department of Frankfurt. For the last 4 years she has been leading the dance club at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, which is accompanied by Tanzplattform Rhein-Main.

Michelle DiMeo is a dancer, educator, and movement practitioner. Originally from the U.S., she relocated to Frankfurt in 2019. She holds a MA in Contemporary Dance Education from the HfMDK, Ffm, and is a fully certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and Instructor Trainer.

Eri Funahashi Geen is a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher based in Frankfurt. She studied at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance (UK) and graduated in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Education from the University for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt. As a dancer she worked at Teatrul de Balet Sibiu (Romania). Currently, she is involved in freelance project, opera productions and teaches ballet and contemporary dance to a variety of audiences in Frankfurt.

Ioulia Kokkokiou is a performer and dance facilitator. She holds a master’s degree in contemporary dance education (MA CoDE, HfMDK) . She regularly offers dance classes in dance and social institutions as well as theaters, targeting amateurs and professional dancers. Since 2021, Ioulia is also part of the projects “Moove On” and “Basketball & Dance”. Her latest movement research, founded by DIS-TANZ SOLO, explores how contemporary dance can be mediated through games. Since 2019, she collaborates as a performer in projects choreographed by Matthew Tusa

Kristina Veit received her diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt. After four years of theater engagements(A,CH) she started working as a freelancer in 2005 and since then realizes projects at independent production houses, state theaters as well as museums and galleries all over Germany. From 2013-2019 she created works under the artist duo ravvina/veit. In 2009 she founded, among others, ID_Frankfurt e. V. and served on the board until 2016. Since 2010, Veit has been working continuously with children and young people in the field of aesthetic education from special schools to high schools. Since 2010 she has a teaching position for yoga at the HFMDK.

Jason Jacobs

Jason has worked as a professional dancer, dancemaker and educator for the past 20 years. It is his background, experience and conviction in the necessity and value of movement in everyday life that underpins the emphasis on dance in our product offering.
