Ewelina is a freelance dancer and dance teacher based in Frankfurt. She graduated from Anton Bruckner University Linz/A with a BA in Movement Studies, Performance and Dance Pedagogy and in 2015 she obtained her MA from the MA CoDE program at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.
In her work she engages with various target groups: kids, teenagers, seniors, actors, dancers as well as she is very much interested in bringing dance outdoors and to unconventional places 🤸🏻

Ioulia Kokkokiou is a performer and dance educator with a master's degree in contemporary dance education. She teaches in dance and social institutions, as well as theaters, targeting amateurs and professional dancers. Her current research explores how contemporary dance can be mediated through games.

Meet Jason, founder of Dancebreak 💫🕺🏻
Jason is a dancer, educator and entrepreneur based in Frankfurt📍
His international career included engagements with dance companies and theaters throughout the US and Europe. He received a Master in Contemporary Dance Education from the University for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt and an Executive MBA at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management 🎓
He teaches in dance institutions throughout Europe, coordinates longterm cultural education programs for diverse target groups, and develops projects intertwining technology and dance education✨ In 2022 he founded the wellbeing startup DanceBreak to offer the benefits of movement to people who suffer from sedentary working conditions. 📌 Jason’s mission is to find ways to make embodied knowledge visible and create sustainable structures for dance artists to communicate the value of movement.

Michelle is a dancer, educator, and movement practitioner. Oringinaly from the US, she relocated to Frankfurt in 2019. She holds a MA in Contemporary Dance Education from the HfMDK, Ffm, and is a fully certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and Instructor Trainer.

What to expect when you join a 15min DanceBreak session?
A DanceBreak session invites participants to step away from their everyday work-stress
Focusing awareness on how one breathes and where the breath is initiated, helps to calm the mind and regulate blood-flow
Offering a step-by-step body scan, DanceBreak introduces easy movements to the main joints and regions of the body
Gradually the energy centers in the body are activated through a total-body approach to moving with rhythmic and cognitive challenges
Sessions close with a gentle reminder of how to become aware, make positive use of, and let go of unnecessary tension.
